Tim is a 25 year investment banking veteran with over $2 billion in transactions completed.  Tim was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada and received his formal education at the University of Winnipeg.   Upon graduation, Tim moved to Australia, where he played professional beach volleyball and also traveled throughout the South Pacific.  Upon his return to Canada, Tim migrated to Toronto, Canada and spent 12 years as a real estate investment banker with active involvement in business development, credit analysis and underwriting, credit committee participation, asset management, portfolio securitization and syndications.

In 2000, Tim left Toronto and moved his family to Northern California, where he worked a senior executive focusing on restructuring and repositioning distressed companies.  In 2005, after successfully completing the repositioning of 2 privately held companies, Tim returned to real estate investment banking where he spent the next year as the head of business development for a large national real estate investment banking group.

In late 2006, sensing a significant fragmentation in the real estate capital markets sector, Tim launched the Rightpath Group.

Tim has a BBA (honors) from the University of Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Canada and is a graduate of the Execute Management Program from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada.

Tim lives in Northern California with his wife of 20 years, Beth, and their 3 children, Alyssa, Bryce, and Natalie.
